Value for money

Value for money has to be the primary objective for buyers of cleaning services, but what is it and how do we measure it?

VFM is unobtainable unless you measure service quality and control risks. It is securing the right balance between quality, risk and cost. Reducing costs will invariably impact on risk or quality.

The challenge is to measure service quality and manage occupational risks at an appropriate cost. VFM is an elusive goal unless it is fully supported by transparent performance measurement, robust management processes and genuine long term partnering.

Achieving the value for money balance

NJC always achieve the VFM balance required by our customers. We are one of the few cleaning service providers that actually measure performance and customer satisfaction in a formal way. Performance reports taken from the AMONET online service desk are discussed with customers at monthly management meetings and the results of our annual customer satisfaction are reviewed by the NJC directors and any issues are always resolved. In this way our customers can be confident that VFM is genuinely achieved and our service performance is completely transparent.
