Cover staff for annual leave / unplanned absence / training
NJC never use agency staff. Using agency staff is a very high risk strategy for providing temporary cover. NJC have an experienced and established reserve team, directly employed to provide floating cover for holidays, sickness and absenteeism.
NJC directly employ cover staff teams in that act as our own ‘Internal Agency'. The team is proportionate to the value of contracts the area and designed to ensure that we provide the full compliment of labour resources - always. Our management draw on this reserve team in a structured way to cover annual leave, sickness, absenteeism and when site based staff are being trained. Cover staff are usually long term employees that are fully trained and vetted and conversant with the sites they cover, the duties they will asked to carry out and the standards required. Cover staff are normally internally promoted with a good company track record.
